Being named the face of a famous award earned her public recognition and she was soon finding more roles on telenovelas. Aracely portrayed minor roles throughout the mid 90s in films such as Mujer Casos de la Vida Real (1996), El Alma no has colour (1997) in addition to Alma Rebelde(1999). Aracely was cast in 2000 as Maria del Carmen, opposite Fernando Colunga & Helena Rojo in Abrazam muy Fuerte. She won the Best Actress Award for the El Heraldo de Mexico Awards 2001, for her performance as Maria del Carmen in the Telenovela. She was later cast as Perla in Las Vias del Amor a Mexican television show produced by Emilio Larrosa for Televisa. The theme song of the show was sang by Aracely. She paused her film work for the role of host Todo Bebe, a television show which branched out into theatre in 2008. Aracely's first job was as a singer of nursery rhymes based on Mexican children's song composer Francisco Gabilondo Soler, also known as Cri Cri. Aracely was awarded three times by the Billboard Latin Music Awards in 2003 with her Album Solo Tuya. She subsequently released the album Sexy in 2005 produced by A.B. Quintanilla. Quintanilla has composed two soundtracks including Juntos tu y yo and La Patrona. Aracely hinted at a new studio album in 2014; however, she's yet deliver on the project.
