Arianna Huffington

Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington resides in the US. She is a Greek-American writer, syndicated journalist and a businesswoman. She is a co-founder of The Huffington Post the founder and chief executive officer of Thrive Global and the author of fifteen books. Arianna Huffington, an independently-owned liberal news site and a television host, author, and philanthropist. Originating from Greece she moved to England when she was sixteen and then was able to graduate from Cambridge University with an MA in Economics. The famous debating society The Cambridge Union was her first time as president, and she held it before the age of 21. When she graduated, she made her name as columnist in the conservative syndicated media as well as with the introduction of The Huffington Post' few years later, she developed an online voice platform that offered critical observations on the political scenario. The fame she gained allowed her to persuade a number of stars to voice their views about current affairs, political and culture. Arianna gained fame after she decided to become an Independent candidate for the California Recall Election to replace the Governor Davis. The project she headed was an Detroit fuel-efficient car project. Her name was voted as the most Popular Women in Media in 2009 by Forbes in 2009 and was awarded 12th position on the list. The same year, the Guardian named her on the Top 100 Media List. AOL bought The Huffington Post from AOL in the year 2011. In 2012, she became the President of the media division at AOL. It was comprised of several AOL owned properties like Engadget AOL Style List and Patch Media. Her parents were Elli and Konstantinos Stasinopoulos, a management consultant and journalist. Her character was formed by her closeness to her mother and her bond with her father, despite being extremely close to him. Even in her formative age she demonstrated the leadership abilities for which she's still known. When she moved to England, she was sixteen to further her studies and was enrolled into Girton College Cambridge. As a student, she joined the Cambridge Union, a college debating club. The third female president, and also the first foreigner she held the position of head for the Cambridge Union. She graduated in 1972 with a Masters in Economics. In the years following the graduation ceremony, she worked as a journalist and TV host. She was a guest on Bernard Levin on an edition Face the music, and she began writing her own novels with his help.
