Kelly Clarkson was an American artist and songwriter who was the America's sweetheart when she won American Idol in the first series. This win catapulted Clarkson into notoriety and led to an agreement with RCA Records 19 Recordings, along with 'S Recordings. Since then, she's made several studio albums. Three of that reached the top of the US Billboard 200' chart and the rest of her albums just did not make it to the top. Her name is regarded as one of the many of the most popular American Idol artists. She was a bit flimsy as she found recognition for her various themes and musical styles. She often composed songs of her own. Because of her distinctiveness and vocal ability, she was awarded praise from the public as well as a variety of accolades. Her most notable achievement is that she won 3 Grammy awards. Apart from her singing professional career, she has worked in film and TV. She also co-wrote the children's novel River Rose and the Magical Lullaby as well as been associated in a variety of charitable organisations.
